submitting your resume allows us to holistically review your application for admission. you can either submit your resume as part of your application or later through the bison portal.

and, if we had to guess, we’d say the next thing you’re probably wondering is whether you can afford a place like lipscomb. the answer is yes! we have several unique scholarship options for transfer students to ensure that an excellent education is within financial reach, whether you’re coming from a community college or from another four-year university. see what kind of financial aid you’ll be eligible for.

- lipscomb will accept courses from regionally accredited schools with a grade of c or higher. courses deemed to be remedial/developmental do not transfer.
- students coming from 2-year schools can transfer up to 63 hours.
- students coming from 4-year schools can transfer up to 94 hours.
yes, and the program you’ll attend will be different depending on whether you transfer at the start of the fall or spring semester. in the spring, our orientation for transfer students is a half-day program. if you are under the age of 21 and begin classes in the fall semester, you will attend new student orientation and questweek, our traditional orientation program intended to maximize your transition to lipscomb. learn more about orientation and registration on our admitted students page.
we believe that students have a fuller lipscomb experience by living on campus, however as a transfer student we recognize that you may already have established housing or connections in the nashville area. you can elect to live off campus at any time.
we are on a rolling admission system. however, we suggest that you apply as early as possible prior to the semester that you are planning to transfer.
if you are applying with less than 60 transferring credit hours, we ask that you submit both your high school transcripts and standardized test scores.
