the university studies program provides students with the opportunity to integrate areas of study that are of special interest to them.  this flexibility allows the student to create a combination of courses that may not exist in other degree programs.  this option may appeal to students who have specific post-baccalaureate degree paths in mind.

program curriculum
students majoring in university studies can earn either a bachelor of science or a bachelor of arts degree. the major requires the completion of 50 hours specific to the university studies program. students are required to select either two 12-hour concentrations or one 24-hour concentration.  in addition to the concentration classes, students must complete 12 hours of foundation courses (beyond what is taken for general education), 12 hours of upper-division coursework, and a 2-hour capstone experience course.
