   |  cm 1034 - general, organic, and biochemistry ii (4) span elementary level course dealing with the fundamental concepts of biochemistry. special attention is given to chemical composition of the three major classes of foodstuffs-carbohydrates, lipids and proteins, and the interrelationships of the various metabolic pathways.
 
 prerequisite: cm 1023  or cm 1024 .
