nutr 4613 - nutritional biochemistry (3) sp
this course discusses the biochemistry of digestion, absorption and metabolism of foods and specific nutrients. special emphasis will be given to the interrelationship of metabolic pathways and the impact of nutritional biochemistry on health and disease states.
prerequisites: nutr 2613 and cm 1034 or equivalent, with a grade of “c” or higher, or permission of instructor.
